Kurbaum’s Chief was imported to Canada from Germany by Mr. Kurbaum a successful competitive driver and breeder of Champion Sec. D Welsh Cobs in his home country Germany. Before importing this mares’ sire to Canada Mr. Kurbaum had Chief inspected branded and approved for breeding with the Westfalen Warmblood Registry. This mare Number One is the first offspring of the North American foals she is Reg. ½ Morgan and is eligible for Reg. as a ½ Sec. D Welsh cob Westfalen Warmblood Reg. Germany and Canadian Warmblood. She has been handled is halter-broke ties loads has had her feet regularly trimmed has been ground driven all over the yard ridden at walk and trot in the ring and on the trail and has been packed in the mountains for ten days with full double rigging and breast collar and breeching on. This mare has energy yet a sensible quiet nature she has three loose elastic very expressive gaits and is a nice powerful mare. She would be suited for Dressage eventing driving or breeding stock.
