The Paso Fino Horse was bred in Colombia and Puerto Rico by Spanish land owners specifically to be used on the plantations. This was due to their endurance as well as being comfortable to ride. An energetic horse, the Paso Fino Horse is a mixed breed of the Barb, Andalusian, and Spanish Jennet horses. Possessing a good disposition, and natural drive, they are known locally as “brio.” They come in a wide variety of colors, sizes and body types.
