Available for sale - to a good home - is my 8 year old Bay Tobiano Paint mare.
LeAnn is well bred herself with both Sugar Bars and Colonel Freckles on top and bottom.
When I purchased her at 3 years old she had 30 days started with a trainer. I didnt ride her until she was 4 years old and professionally trained. However I have had 3 children in 4 years so the amount of time I can spend on her back is minimal.
When I have been able to ride we have done arena and trail rides and the local 4H kids teens have also ridden her on trail rides. Her last trail ride was over a year ago for the San Antonio Rodeo ride that comes up I-35. She was also in a parade the same week in downtown San Antonio. She has been ridden a handful of times since March and I can get her a week or two with the trainer if you are interested.
She is dominant in the field but is a sweet mare one-on-one. She is calm and doesnt spook easily. Once she got stuck between a barn and a barbed wire fence that had been overgrown and we didnt find her until after dark. She stood calmly while we brought in a truck shined the brights to cut down the fence and shrubs and she carefully walked over the mess.
She has a current Coggins and is up-to-date on immunizations deworming and farrier visits. She has never been bred.
We are a military family and have been given the notice that we will be moving in 2012 and with three kids I have less time to spend with her. These are the only reasons I am selling her. If you have any questions or require additional info/photos to make a decision please contact me.
